When the Golden Sun is Setting
When the Golden Sun is Setting.

102.3
When the golden sun is setting in the bright
and golden west,
tly sighing in the trees;
Then the wind wind is softly
Then every haunt of nature ap speaks of qulet
peace and rest,
And evening’s hush and quiet is borne upo
the breeze.
Then the water shines and sparkles an it rip-
ples on its way,
And, softly murmuring, gently move more
slow,
While every nodding lower seems to speak of
lose of day,
As the soft wind gently waves them to and
fro.
Then the wide plains of Dakota are bathed in
golden light,
The land once more with evening’s coolness blest,
And every hird and flower seems to bid its
sweet good-night,
When the golden sun is setting in the west.
