I’m just as reason’ble a man
As any can be:
I don’t see how sane people can
Find any fault with me.
I try my best to keep the rest
From goin’ quite astray-
An’ all I ask in life is jest
To have things my own way!

It’s bothersome and no mistake,
When I put things so plain,
To see ’em go ahead an’ make
The same mistakes again.
It re’ly riles me through an’ through
To see ’em go astray,
When all that they would have to do Is let me have my way.
