Kiss Her

Kiss Her
574

At the last annual dinner of the
Friendly Hans of St Patrick, In
New York, Thomas Augustin Daly of
Phila- delphia had something to say of the
joys of married life, and he told how
to preserve these joys in this poem:

Say, young man, if you’ve a wife, Kiss her
Every morning of your life, Kiss her
Every evening when the sun
Marks your day of Inbar dana,
Gol get homeward on the run- Kiss her
Even If you’re feeling bad, Klas her

When she’s out of sorts or and, Kiss her
Act as if you meant it, too,
Let the whole true heart of you
Speak its ardor when you do Kias her

If you think it’s “soft” you’re wrong, Klan her
Love like that will make you strong- Klas her
If you’d strike with telling force
At this Evil of Divorce
Just adopt this simple course: Kiss her
