To do this work well, small or TOLL the amount,
And to be there to do it, without call or beckon!
Any one of a million can turn off the tasks
If by the “boss” shown them, nagged, spurred on the taunted,
That is, if he’s near-but the kind the world алин
Is the fellow who’s always on hand when he’s wanted.

Proficiency counts, as a matter of course,
But the main thing is free from diversion, readiness,
An attention to duty that ne’er aska divorce
From the desk for a ball game of summer excursion.
Is it you that they want? Will you do? There’s no doubt
This demand for a man in your face will be flaunted;
For It’s open to all-the supply has run out
Of the fellows who’re always on hand when they’re wanted
