The coyote is the smartest one,

He thlaks it fun to set up ulghts

THE PRAIRIE DOG.
The prairie dog balu’t got much sense,
His manners are a shame.
But don’t find fault with him, b’cause
His parents are to blame.
THE INDIAN.
The injun he’s a savuge an
He likes to eat an’ rest,
He wears some palut, a look o’ scorn,
Au thinks that he is dossed.
THE BRONCO.
The bronco likes to roam the wild
Au short an’ rip an’ tear,
An klek a sard of nuthin’ from
The outside of the air.
THE COWBOY.
I think a cowboy’s curious,
He shoots folks in a rage.
An’ you never see him anywhere
Except upon the stage.
THE GOPHER.
The gopher he’s a convict,
Ter a striped suit he wenrs,
But you’d never, never think it,
By the way he puts on airs.
THE TENDERFOOT.
The tenderfoot’s the funulest
Critter of the plains.
My dad ses they are human,
But they haven’t any branes.
THE PORCUPINE.
The porcupine is grate on jokes
He’s a yoomerist like me-
Most everything he sex is sharp
