When He Got Drunk Again.

When He Got Drunk Again.

When young I had a fortune. I thought t’would ne’er be sunk,
I spent it all a-gambling one night when I not drunk.
So early next morning my head was racked with pain,
My heart was ailed with sadness, so I got drunk again.
So I got drunk again, so I got drunk again.
My heart was filled with sadness, no I got drunk again.

I took a trip to India, thinking to gain by trade:
I met with one I knew there, he was a dashing blade.
We soon made up a party of jovial fellows then,
And being both free and hearty, I got drunk again.
So T got drunk again, so I got drunk again.
And being both free and hearty, I got drunk again.

I then returned to England my thoughts fixed on a wife
Resolved to stick to business and lead a sober life.
I got a handsome wife, air; how happy was i then,
Till we began to fight, sir,
So I got drunk again. No i got drunk again, so I get drunk again.
Till we began to fight, alr, so I got drunk again

And thus misfortune ended, how happy I’d have been.
But health with wealth declining, the doctor was called in
He looked at me so serious and answered
You’ve wrecked cked your constitution by so plain. again.
By Fettior drunk again, by getting drunk again. You’ve wrecked your constitution by getting drunk
getting drunic
