An Imitation Poem.
An Imitation Poem.

“We’ve Imitation butter
And imitation milk:
We’ve Imitation cotton
And imitation silk.
We’ve imitation marble
And Imitation wood;
We’ve imitation coffee
Salubriously good.
We’ve imitation leather
For Imitation shoes;
We’ve Imitation dye stuffs
And imitation booze,
And some of us ’tis certain
Have Imitation wives.
In fact, I fear we’re leading
But Imitation lives.”
