THE reason I’m thankful
On Thanksgiving Day
Is ’cause I know Christmas
Is well on its way
A little more grateful
And happy I grow
As nearer and nearer
To Christmas I go
And then when I find that
My waiting is past,
And dear old Kriss Kringle
Has got here at last,
I shout and I cheer for that day full of
fun-
For Christmas and Thanksgiving rolled
Into one!
