To the living soul in the city of San Fran clean,
Thou shalt rias-our City of the Sun!
For, ever in a nory death like thine,
Ere Bearce the flamos be fled,
A recreation in bogun:
Even as in Arabia the Divine,
A plunued and centuried life was shed
Only anow to greet the skies,
Winging through day and night
To Heliopolis Its mystic Journey bright
So, phoenix both, and goal of phoeni flight-
Our Heliopolis, where lust the day bear lies-
So, thou, again shalt rise!
Thou shalt rise (but Inte Red Autumn’ spoil!)
Shalt bloom with vigor greater than of old!
As when a fire has swent some virgin soll
Whose clouds wild Flora’s unguessed germins hold,
Springs there new growth miraculous to Imortal eyes-
So, thou, again shall rise!
