The Bachelor Is Happy, But-
The Bachelor Is Happy, But-
2669
How happy is the bachelor!
How free from care his life!
How much more blest he really is
Than if he had a wife
He has no dressmakers to pay,
No millinery bills;
And similarly he escapes
From many other ills
The pretty girls all smile on him,
To catch him if they can;
They’d pass him by with cold neglect
Were he a married man
Oh, yes, Indeed, the bachelor’s
A very lucky man:
And yet he’s thinking constantly- “I’ll marry when I can”
