When Autumn Comes.

When Autumn Comes.

When Autumn comes
The schools commence,
The squirrel runs along the fence,
The crickets chirp, the wild bee hums,
The froggies croak, the partridge drums,

When Autumn comes.
When Autumn comes,
Thanksgiving’s near,
With turkey, mince pie and good cheer,
The breath of Jack Frost chills and numbs,
But the fire burns bright, the kettle hums.
When Autumn comes.
