Little Ah Sid.
Was a Chinese kid- A cute little curs I declare,
With eyes full of fun
And a nose that begun
Right up at the roots of his hair.

Jolly and fat.
Was the frollesome brat.
And played at the long summer day.
And braided his cue
An his father would do
In Chinaland far, far away.

Once o’er the lawn
That Ah Sid played upon,
A bumblebee flew in the spring:
“Melican buttiefly,”
Said he with winking eye:0
“Me catch and pull off um wing.”

Then with his cap
He struck Ita rap
This innccent bumblebee,
And put its remains.
In the seat of his jeans,
For a pocket there had the Chinese.

Down in the graes.
Sat the little sardine.
In a style that was strangely demure.
And sald, with a grin
That was brimful ef sin.
“Me mash um buttiefly sure.”

Little Ah Sid Was only a kid,
Nar could he quite puess
What kind of a bug
He was holding so anug
In the folds of his loose fitting dress.

“Ki-va! yuk a kan!
Ah Sid cried as he
Rome hurriedly up from that spot.
“Ki-va! yuk a kan:
Dam um Mellean man.
Um buttielly belly much hot.”
